Product Introduction
Hydraulic classifier is also know as hydraulic classification, what is a kind of particle size classification equipment. It is mainly used for strict classification and selection of silica sand used in various industries, classification of coal powder and shale in coal industry. As an equipment system in the field of mineral classification, hydraulic classification box has the advantages of simple structure, high efficiency, low energy consumption, convenient maintenance, no power consumption, no noise, reliable performance, convenient operation and so on.

Hydraulic classifier

There are different processing capabilities of hydraulic classifiers in our mining product line. The capability is mainly reflected in the number of chambers . We supply different specifications including 4 chambers , 6 chambers and 8 chambers . Generally speaking, the more chambers there are, the more processing capabilities there are. This classifier performances good at the sorting of iron, tungsten, tin, gold, and non-ferrous. Through our continuous optimization and improvement, we become a leader at the control system, classification efficiency and noise control.

Structure
Our hydraulic classifier is also named sieve plate trough hydraulic classifier or denver hydraulic classifier, which is a kind of equipment using sieve plate to cause interference settlement condition. The shape of the machine is a cone-shaped box, which is divided into 4 ~ 8 classification chambers by vertical partition. The sectional area of each chamber is 200 mm × 200mm. A sieve plate is arranged at a certain height from the chamber bottom. There are 36 ~ 72 sieve holes with diameter of 3 ~ 5mm on the sieve plate. The pressure water is fed from the bottom of the sieve plate and flows upward through the sieve hole. The ore particles are suspended above the sieve plate for interference settlement and stratification. The coarse particles are discharged through the central hole of the sieve plate, and the discharge quantity is controlled by the conical plug.

Hydraulic classifier

The main parts of hydraulic classifier
1. Pyramid Box: The ore particles are roughly classified in horizontal flow, and the slurry concentration is relatively thin.
2.Mixing Chamber: Due to coarse particles settling, the classification is carried out under the condition of high pulp concentration.
3. Grading Room: Regrading in rising water flow can be observed by glass windows.
4. Vortex Chamber: Feed water with high pressure.
5. Lifting Rod: there is a conical plug at the lower end, and the size of gap (grading particle size) is controlled by the screw rod.
6. Grit Chamber (Buffer Chamber): To prevent the rapid flow of grit discharge from damaging the classification process, so as to ensure the normal continuous discharge.

Working Principle
The hydraulic classifier is a kind of obstructed (or interference) settler that uses rising water flow to form turbulent flow in the container. The rising water enters the water tank at a predetermined flow rate and pressure, and the materials are fed into the equipment from the feeder. When the specific gravity is the same, the large particles settle faster than the small particles in the water. If the particles with the same size but different specific gravity, the particles with a large specific gravity settle faster than those with a small specific gravity. For the particle size within a certain range to remain suspended under the action of the rising water flow, this area is called the turbulent flow zone. Larger particles or particles with larger specific gravity in the selected materials will pass through the turbulent flow zone and settle, while small particles or particles with lighter specific gravity will not pass through the turbulent flow zone. It floats to the upper part, overflows from the overflow weir and collects into the overflow trough. The manometer is inserted in the slurry in the turbulent flow zone to show the pressure of the slurry. The materials are continuously sorted according to the above process.

Advantages and Features
Simple structure, convenient operation, management of equipment and maintenance.
The unit solvent treatment capacity is large.
High separation efficiency and low energy consumption.
The equipment cost is low and the floor area is small.
The quantity and time of slurry staying in the machine is small.
Matching with a large mill is more realistic than a spiral classifier
Equipped with automatic control system, which is relatively simple and easy to control when adjusting operating parameters.
Self-protection: The water tank at the lower part of the cylinder is equipped with a special device. The rising water hole is automatically closed when the water is stopped, and the material in the cylinder will not block the water hole and the water inlet tank.
