Types of Jig Separator
According to the number of gear boxes, jig concentrator can be divided into single gear box and two gear boxes jig.
Single gear box jig separator
As its name, it means the jig contains single gear box. such as our JT2-2, JT4-2
Double gear boxes jig separator
It contains two gear boxes, JT4-2A.
Refer to the effect of one gearbox and two gearboxes’ jig, of course two gearboxes is better. But consider the cost, the suggestion of the chosen of gear boxes: If the feed size is large and the concentrate to be sorted is large, a jig with two gear boxes is better. If the feed size is 3-5mm, a single gear box can be ok.
According to the way of discharging, jig can be divided into jigging on sieve and jigging under the sieve.
Jigging on the sieve
Discharge the ore on the sieve is generally suitable for minerals with a large amount of concentrate and high content that can automatically form a ore deposit. Such as: fluorite ore, manganese ore, chromium ore, iron ore.
Regarding the ore discharged on the sieve, the particles of rare metals larger than the sieve such as tungsten, tin, gold, diamonds, etc., will be deposited on the sieve. It needs to clean up every 6 months.
It is impossible for rare metals to be discharged on the sieve. But ore with a grade of 20-30%, such as manganese ore, iron ore, and chromium ore, can be discharged on the sieve.
The ore is discharged on the sieve, the ore comes in, and the deposit is automatically formed first. The fine concentrate is discharged from below and the coarse particles are discharged from the screen.
Jigging under the sieve
When the jig is used in tungsten ore, tin ore and gold ore, the discharge under the sieve, it is mainly used for sand gold. Rock gold is also used for broken gold particles. Tantalum niobium ore, chromium ore, Manganese ore, hematite and limonite are generally ore discharged on a sieve.
Sawtooth Wave is one of the common waveforms. The sawtooth waveform first rises in a straight line, then falls steeply, rises again, falls steeply, and so on. It uses water as the beneficiation medium and is sorted according to the difference in the specific gravity (density) of useful minerals and gangues. The water flow fluctuation curve generated during normal operation is in a sawtooth wave shape, which enhances the suction effect in the jig beneficiation process.
