The Double Roll Crusher is widely used for fine or superfine crushing in the industries of mining, construction materials, metallurgy and chemical industries. It can crush a wide variety of materials which are of a middle hardness or softer such as ore, rock, coke, coal, clinker, ceramic raw materials, slag, refractory materials and chemical materials.
The Double Roll Crusher has a plethora of applications including, but not limited to the following:
- Produce silica sand from quartz or silica stone
- Crush iron ore into fine powder for iron ore beneficiation
- Crush machine-made sand from cobblestone or building waste
- Fine crushing of potash feldspar and soda feldspar for ceramic industry
- Fine crushing of limestone for desulfurization in heat and electricity industry
- Pre-crush the cement raw materials before feeding into the mill
The Double Roll Crusher has an intrinsically simple design. The raw materials are fed into the crusher and fall into the V shape cavity created by the two side by side crushing rollers. The feed is then crushed into qualified sizes by the extruding and cutting force of the two counter-rotating rollers, and then discharged from the outlet. Due to the high velocity the rollers rotate at, the crushing mechanism is highly destructive and can crush large quantities of feed material very quickly.
