Shaking table(shaker table) is also called table concentrator, which is a gravity separation device for fine minerals . Shaking table is used for the process of rare metals and precious metal ores. It’s widely used to sort out tungsten, tin, tantalum, niobium, gold, Iron, Chrome, Manganese, Zircon, Lead and so on. It can be used for different operations such as roughing and sweeping, and sorting coarse sand (2-0.5mm), fine sand (0.5-0.074mm), sludge (-0.074mm) and other different particle sizes. When processing tungsten, tin and other ores, the effective recovery particle size range of the shaker is 2-0.22 mm.
The beneficiation process of shaking table is carried out on the inclined bed surface with multiple strips. The ore particles are fed into the ore trough at the corner of the bed surface. The water trough is supplied with horizontal flushing water meanwhile. The ore particles are in gravity and lateral under the action of the impulse of flowing water, the inertia and friction generated by the reciprocating asymmetrical movement of the table surface. It is layered according to specific gravity and particle size. And it moves longitudinally along the bed surface and laterally along the inclined surface of the table.
The ore particles are subjected to the following three mutually perpendicular forces on the surface of the shaking table:
(1) The gravity of the mineral particles in the medium;
(2) The hydrodynamic effect of lateral water flow and slurry flow;
(3) The power of the differential reciprocating motion of the bed surface.

Double Deck shaking table
Working Principle
The longitudinal reciprocating movement of the table surface of the shaker is realized by a crank connecting rod transmission mechanism. The electric motor drives the crankshaft to rotate through the belt drive, and the rocker moves up and down accordingly. When the rocker moves down, the toggle plate pushes the rear axle and the reciprocating rod to move backward, and the spring is compressed. The table surface is connected with the reciprocating rod through the linkage seat, so the bed surface is also moved backward at this time. When the rocker moves upward, the bed surface moves forward due to the tension of the spring.
With the rod moving down, minerals on tilting deck installed by rifle spokes go into the feed box. Meantime water stored in the water tank impacts the minerals laterally. According the shaking and washing, minerals of different sizes and densities flow from discharge outlets, which separate concentrates and tailings clearly and efficiently. The production and accuracy of shaking table have improved significantly since the mining shaker tables have been upgrading in line with advanced technologies.
