Lab SHY-I Rotary Kiln
SHY-I lab rotary kiln is applicable to metallurgy, geology, mining, chemical industry, building materials and other sectors for roasting and sintering test of material samples. Compared with traditional Muffle furnace and tube furnace, the largest advantage is that the furnace tube is rotating and thus material samples are constantly rotating throughout processing. In this way, it has good processing quality and high efficiency and the test data obtained is close to the production status. As the rotary kiln could feed and discharge continuously, its superiority is highlighted when a large quantity of material samples are under procession. The product is also used for semi-industrial production. Moreover, as both ends of the rotary furnace tube are applied with sealing measures, necessary gases for oxidation reduction could be introduced in use.
The lab rotary kiln is divided into two parts: the first part is kiln body; the second part is electric control cabinet. The kiln body is further divided into two parts of electric furnace body and power rotation part. The furnace body part uses argillaceous round hearth evenly inserted with 9 silicon carbide rods along the circular shaft (every three rods form a group and three groups are wired in the manner of “Y”). High alumina based ceramic furnace tubes are put inside the silicon carbide rods that could produce high temperature once powered on to heat the furnace tubes.
