Shaker tables are gravity concentrating devices that separate material based on differing densities. The combined action of the interaction between different particle sizes, movement of the table surface and the water flow over the grooves or riffles work together to separate and produce different products as required.  They are widely used in concentrating and separating high density materials from waste products. Shaker table  are used mainly in beneficiation of mineral sand, but also can be used for the treatment of slime ore. The transverse tilt of the deck can be easily adjusted and the stroke range is highly variable based on the fraction size (coarse or fine) and other parameters.

Deck options  when choose shaker table:

There are three distinct deck designs available, the coarse ore deck, the fine sand deck or the slime deck. The broad specifications for the three types of decks are:

  • The coarse ore deck is designed for recovering particles sized from 0.5 mm to 2 mm
  • The fine sand deck is designed for recovering fine particles from 0.074 mm up to 0.5 mm
  • The slime deck is designed for recovering extremely fine particles ranging from 0.05 mm up to 0.074 mm.

The shaker table can be divided into three main components. The head motion, the decks and the feed and water box.

Head Motion: The head motion is essentially the motor, which vibrates the table, forming the main mechanism by which the particles are separated. It is of rugged construction and requires minimal maintenance. Its internal mechanism is splash lubricated from an integral oil sump.

Decks: The decks form the surface of the shaker table and have grooves of riffles in them to catch the segregated minerals. They are constructed using fiberglass reinforced with fabricated steel frames at the bottom. This ensures that the decks are easy to clean and seldom require maintenance.

Feed and Water Box: A wooden feed distributing box with hopper and a long water box are attached to the iron of the deck, giving an even distribution of feed and water.

Hand Tables are furnished right or left hand, depending on customer preference. Customers also have a choice between ordinary type, groove steel support or big channel steel support configurations.
